I decided to throw a show for the ocean and bring the pit-fired ceramics pieces i made following the LA wildfires. I wrote about tidal time and interspecies communication, then i made it into a book that forms a set of waves. During the show i read from the book, displayed the ceramics on sandcastle pedestals, and offered viewers to engage with the topics of the show by way of coal-panning and writing to the ocean in the sand.
